Wildflowers
Andalucia is host to a very rich variety of wildflowers in widely diverse habitats, some species growing nowhere else.  In the spring and early summer, the hills around Cortijo las Rosas are ablaze with colour.

Street Markets
Markets (mercados) are a common sight in towns and villages throughout Andalucía, and are an essential part of Spanish life, largely unaffected by competition from supermarkets and hypermarkets.  They are colourful, noisy and entertaining and an experience not to be missed, whether you plan to buy anything or not. Markets thrive throughout the province and are the centre of life in towns and villages.

Lobo Wolf Park
The Lobo Wolf Park near Antequera is a unique nature, experience and study park in the heart of Andalusia.  There are four large enclosures with European wolves, Timber wolves, the rare white Alaska - Tundra wolves (polar wolves) and Iberian Wolves.

The Subbetica Natural Park
Cortijo las Rosas lies just outside of The Sierras Subbéticas which is a stunningly beautiful, rugged park located in the heart of Andalucia between the three great cities of Cordoba, Granada and Seville. The park was designated a natural park in 1988. It is home to one of southern Spain's largest breeding colonies of griffon vultures, as well as around 70 other bird species, like booted, Bonelli's and short-toed eagles. It also has a rich variety of wildflowers.
