The Courtyard

Casita Liebre (meaning Little Hare House) is reached through the original farmyard doors leading onto the courtyard.

Accessed from the courtyard, the accommodation is based in the oldest part of the reformed cortijo with low beamed ceilings and niches retained from the original building.

The original walls are thick, providing coolness in the summer and retaining warmth in the winter. There is a lounge, with large comfortable Moorish style divan sofas and a log burner for cool winter evenings. There is also satellite television. French doors provide light and access to the courtyard. An open staircase leads upstairs

A low open entrance takes you into the fully equipped kitchen which also opens onto the courtyard through French doors.

There is a full sized electric oven/ hob plus a fridge with a small freezer compartment: essential for cooling the local beer and wine! A good range of plates, pots, glasses etc. allow for home from home, relaxed food preparation.

The Kitchen

Basics (such as salt, pepper, oil, washing up liquid etc.) are provided as part of our service and we can also provide a good starter pack for a reasonable price, ensuring that you can arrive and relax without immediately thinking about having to cater. There is a kitchen table to seat four for dining.

Twin Bedrooms

Upstairs there are two twin bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms, under the pitched beamed roof. Both bedrooms have comfortable twin beds, a wardrobe, small dressing table and open into bathrooms with walk in showers, toilets and basins.

Outside there is a large private courtyard planted with jasmine, lavender and herbs, surrounded by tradional high white walls. You are not overlooked by the other casitas. There is outside seating and shade is provided by a large umbrella for hot summer days. A barbeque allows you to make the most of the outside living for which sunny Andalucia is justifiably famous.
