We have our own pool at Cortijo las Rosas with fantastic views over the valley below. The pool is 8m x 4m and is a refreshing place to relax after a busy day sight seeing.

For more serious swimming, there is a municipal pool open in Fuentes de Cesna (only 5 minutes away by car) which is open from 1st July to 31st August every year. It is used mainly by the local villagers and is rarely very busy. It’s very cheap to enter, there are good showers and changing rooms, and a bar serves food and drink. It is generally open from around 1200 until late (and that can be very late at night during the long summer weekend nights).

Given that we are located in the hills above the reservoir at Iznajar, there is also the opportunity to swim in the lake. There is a sandy beach near Iznajar itself (some fifteen minutes away by car). It is a popular site for Spanish families to come and camp overnight and swim during the summer. Pedalos are usually available for rent and there are two beachside cafés serving good food at reasonable prices.
