We had a wonderful family holiday at Cortijo Las Rosas near Iznajar.  The drive up through the mountains gives you stunning views over the lake and surrounding countryside.  The old farmhouse nestled amongst the Olive groves has been lovingly restored with each casita having a private entrance and courtyard where you can relax of an evening under the starry sky.  Gillian and Marylynne have thought of everything from the fantastic welcome pack which was just what we needed after a day travelling, to their advice about the best places to visit and local restaurant recommendations, such as Casa Piolas which provided a memorable dining experience.  We stayed in Liebre which was spotless, comfortable and well equipped with thoughtful attention to design detail evident throughout.

The casita is perfect for a peaceful relaxing holiday lounging by the pool while being within easy reach of the stunning palace and gardens of Alhambra in Granada, La Mezquita in medieval Cordoba, the moorish fortress of historical Antequera and Malaga with its winding streets of the old town, harbour and yellow-sand beaches on the coast.
