We had the most wonderful week at Cortijo las Rosas staying in Casita Perdiz. It was our first visit to Spain and we will certainly be back. Cortijo las Rosas is so peaceful and beautiful and we were able to really relax and enjoy our time together. The casita was so well equipped with very comfortable beds and fantastic showers. The owners, Gillian and Marylynne, are so hospitable and kind. Nothing was too much trouble and we would really recommend ordering the ‘welcome basket’ – it was filled with a great selection of food and drink and lasted us for ages. Thank you for a wonderful holiday

Comfortable, clean, welcoming. The Cortijo is quite remote, perfect for a relaxing time. We enjoyed going sightseeing and eating out during the daytime, returning to the Cortijo and its lovely pool late afternoon and preparing simple food for the evening.  The owners were obliging and helpful, but never obtrusive, with excellent guidance on directions where to park etc.  We had a very delightful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Las Rosas. The beds were so comfortable and large. The casita was perfect and had everything we needed. Gillian and Marylynne had stocked the kitchen with everything so there was no wasted time shopping and no buying of jars of mayo, jam, herbs, spices which would go to waste. There is a lively pool in the pretty garden. It was gorgeously peaceful. The time went too fast. Granada and Cordoba were amazing. We visited lots of beautiful places.

Que dire sinon que tout était parfait, de la gentillesse de Marylynne et Gillian qui mettent tout en oeuvre pour que vous passiez un excellent séjour, au Cortijo qui est absolument splendide, propre, cocoon, joliment décoré, et tout ça dans un environnement idyllique. Nous nous souviendrons lontemps de cette seamine de rêve.

What to say except that everything was perfect, from the kindness of Marylynne and Gillian who do everything possible to ensure you have a great stay to the Cortijo which is absolutely splendid, clean, cocoons itself around you, is nicely decorated, and all this in an idyllic environment. We will remember that time as a dream.

Auf der Suche nach einem erholsamen Quartier nahe Antequera sind wir zum Glück auf den Cortijo gestoßen. Beide Gastgeberinnen waren von Beginn an sehr verbindlich und zuvorkommend. Dank der guten Wegbeschreibung ist der Cortijo gut zu finden. Die Lage ist idyllisch, der Empfang warmherzig und die Landschaft entspannend und entschleunigend. Die geschmackvoll und durchdacht funktional eingerichteten Häuschen lassen es an nichts fehlen, selbst bei kühlem regnerischen Frühlingswetter. Wer will, kann dank vieler Tipps in das Leben der Umgebung eintauchen und genießen. Aber auch die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten im weiteren Umkreis sind gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und zehren gerne von den Erinnerungen an die gute Zeit.

Luckily, we came across Cortijo las Rosas in search of a restful place near Antequera.  Both hosts were very obliging from the beginning. Thanks to the good directions the Cortijo is easy to find.  The location is idyllic, the reception warm and the landscape relaxing and decelerating.  The tastefully and thoughtfully functional furnished little house lacks nothing, even in cool rainy spring weather.  If you want, you can immerse yourself in the life of the area thanks to many tips.  The many attractions in the wider area are easily accessible.  We enjoyed ourselves and like to remember the good times.

In planning a week-long motorcycle tour of Andalucia with my brother, I selected this venue for 3 nights based on the central location to major cities & beautiful amenities. After actually arriving, we were blown away by the property and the attentiveness of our hosts. Communicating prior to our stay, it was great to be welcomed with a kitchen stocked with groceries to relax after touring Córdoba. We did excursions to El Torcal/El Chorro and Granada before moving on. Highly recommend this cozy retreat to anyone touring the region. Peter

Cortijo las Rosas is best described as magical. Not the kind of magical that includes unicorns, but the kind that creates a love at first sight. Our casita was spotless, the hosts were extremely kind and caring, the mountains were lush and beautiful, the typical welcoming Spanish countryside-vibes were all around and we left the place with the feeling we should have booked those extra days. Thank you for everything!

We had a truly relaxing time at Cortijo Las Rosas. The casita was well furnished, comfortable and we enjoyed using the wood-burning stove during the cool spring evenings. Marylynne and Gillian are wonderful hosts and the setting is lovely. We especially enjoyed the birdsong – nightingales, cuckoo, hoopoe, serin and many more singing away!

We had a wonderful stay at Cortijo Las Rosas. Gillian and Marylynne keep this rural traditional Cortijo perfectly maintained and combine the traditional architecture with tasteful Interior decoration and modern amenities. Gillian and Marylynne were of caring politeness, never intruding. Communication went perfectly right from the start. The Cortijo is located in a quiet place with wonderful views from each room, Clear night skies, singing birds in the morning, humming bees, the scent of roses, tasty herbs. The nearest Village Fuentes de Cesna can be reached with E-Bike within 5 minutes for getting fresh bread and foods. The small towns in the surrounding are charming. We enjoyed serious cycling, Tours to Granada, Cordoba, Antequera, Caminito del Rey and of course the Pool.

By far and away the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at, and I’ve been travelling round Spain for 2 months! They have thought of every detail and more, a particular favourite was the ice cubes of freshly squeezed local lemons! The casitas are impeccable and Gillian and Marylynne couldn’t have been more kind/ helpful. Even when I asked if they happened to have a copy of ‘Driving Over Lemons’ and had explained that I was driving round Spain, I came back from a walk to a pile of books about Spain including said book. It was very hard to leave, but I will definitely be back! Thank you!
