Rural Accommodation Andalucia

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cortijo las Rosas. The rural setting was magnificent. Gillian and Marylynne have combined very modern accommodations within a rustic context to make one feel welcome and at home. They were very helpful in guiding us to off site activities as well as making sure our on site stay was comfortable, clean and inviting. We highly recommend Cortijo las Rosas to anyone…most particularly if you wish to have a comfortable environment in the Andalucia setting.

We've enjoyed a delightful holiday in Cortijo Las Rosas- a second trip. We visited afew years ago and enjoyed it so much that we returned with our 4 month old baby. Marylynne and Gillian are the perfect hosts- helpful, providing everything needed, but inobtrusive at the same time. They provided baby cot, baby bath, baby toiletries, play mat- everything we needed. We will return in the future!
The surrounding area is delightful, and the pool is a perfect place to enjoy the vista, the wildlife and a glass of fine wine.

If you like a wonderful rural location in the middle of olive fields Cortijo las Rosas is the best place. The owners are the most helpful people, who give information and any practical help, that is needed. Very friendly and comfortable apartments

The perfect spot for the quiet holiday!
The owners were fantastic and extremely accommodating. This lovely house setting, although secluded, was in a good location for us to tour the countryside. The welcome package was a great way to start our stay. The was immaculate and very comfortable. We highly recommend Las Rosas! 🙂

We recently spent a fantastic week at the Cortijo Las Rosas and cannot recommend it highly enough. We thought we'd try a week in November in Southern Spain and felt blessed to find such a beautiful spot and such welcoming hosts. Our children (3 and 5) loved the place, from the great pool area, very well equipped for kids and adults, to the superb casita we stayed in. We arrived to a lit wood burning stove, and a gorgeous cosy home. Lovely big rooms, huge bed, deep comfy sofas, spotlessly clean, and simple moorish decor. Plenty of places to visit not far from home, but a very secluded and peaceful place to be. We'd recommend arranging a welcome pack so you have what you need for dinner and breakfast the following day, then sit back, relax and enjoy!

A few weeks ago (7-14 September), we had once more the pleasure to spend part of our holidays in Cortijo las Rosas. This time, we met over there with the entire family (6 adults, 4 kids less than 5 years old) and thus rented the entire premises. To say that we had a great time is simply an understatement. It was close to perfection on all levels, with very welcoming hosts available for all our questions and providing us the guidance we needed. The casitas are truly well equipped (= way above most others), which makes it very pleasant and comfortable. The place was very child-friendly, with plenty of toys and tools, and a nice swimming pool. The place itself is remote, implying one gets the rest one needs away from all possible noise, beautifully located amidst the olive trees, under the starry skies. However, it is close enough for day trips to historical places like Cordoba, Granada, Antequera or the *** El Torcal natural park (just over 75 minutes away). And just around the corner (20 minutes), you find a very good restaurant where you can enjoy a menu degustacion to spice up your stay. O yes, we had superb weather on top of it. Recommended? Surely, no doubt about that!!

We have just returned from 2 wonderful weeks staying at Cortijo Las Rosas. We stayed in Casita Perdiz which was just perfect-everything we needed available including the well-stocked welcome pack. Lovely rural setting surrounded by olive groves with milions of stars at night and ideally situated for day trips to Granada and Cordoba. Marylynne and Gillian made us feel very welcome and are extremely helpful hostesses!We are already planning our next trip!

Wir haben 5 wunderschöne Tage in Cortijo Las Rosas verbracht. Gillian und Marylynne sind sehr herzliche und unaufdringliche Gastgeber,die sich sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste kümmern, angefangen von den schriftlichen Wegbeschreibungen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants, über den vorhandenen Kaffee, Tee, Olivenöl und vieles mehr. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch das welcome package, davon kann man einige Mahlzeiten bestreiten. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, und der Poolbereich ist ein Traum. Wir haben uns hier rundum wohl gefühlt!

Si une escapade vers Cordoue ou les jardins de l'Alhambra vous en éloigne une journée, vous y reviendrez toujours avec hâte, tellement vous y serez bien, et vos enfants aussi !

Chut….. ne le répétez pas mais cet endroit est fabuleux !… à tel point qu'on a envie de le garder pour soi !

We spent 2 weeks in casita liebre in August 2011. The accomodations were perfect for a family with 2 children. Cortijo las rosas is the perfect retreat, set in the middle of the Andalucian hills. The sights are breathtaking and the calm is supreme. Gillian and Marylynne are wonderful hosts.
