Rural Accommodation Andalucia

Gillian and Marylynne were exceptional hosts and provided everything we needed both in advice and in amenities. We had a wonderful stay in the Casita Liebre. The location was great for a relaxing break between Seville and Granada. The accommodations were clean and they provided everything we needed and more. I’d recommend them without reservation.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful location.  It’s about 15 mins drive outside of Iznajar with the last section through the olive trees.  We had a day trip to Granada but otherwise just visited local villages and enjoyed the pool. We were very fortunate as there weren’t any guests in the other accommodation so we had the space to ourselves. Gillian and Marylynne were excellent hosts.  They live on site and are happy to answer any questions or just stop for a chat.  They recommended and booked a wonderful restaurant for us.  They also sent very good directions and a list of things provided and items we might want to bring in advance.  It’s worth noting that a car is essential in this location and if you want to go out for dinner etc you do generally need to drive.  The accommodation did have a good kitchen though for making meals on site.

This very nice house, old farm, is owned by Gillian and Marylynne. They welcomed us and did everything to make our stay comfortable. They thought of every detail in the house! And were very welcoming to our little baby boy! We had a great time!

Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances avec nos deux enfants, et nous recommandons vivement et avec plaisir ce gite.
La maison perdue au milieu des oliviers,se trouve dans un cadre tout simplement paisible et dépaysant.
La casita Liebre est décorée avec goût, elle est très propre et confortable puisque nous avions deux chambres avec chacune sa salle de bain.
La piscine a une vue magnifique, nos enfants ont pu en profiter grâce à de nombreux jeux mis à disposition, et nous avons pu également s’y reposer grâce à son aménagement.

La situation est idéale pour visiter les principales villes d’Andalousie.

Marylynne et Gillian nous ont accueilli chaleureusement.
Durant notre séjour, elles étaient attentives et toujours prêtes à nous aider, nous donnant les meilleurs conseils, elles veillent quotidiennement à l’entretien et à la propreté de leur domaine toujours pour que nous soyons dans les meilleurs conditions.
Merci encore nous gardons un grand souvenir de nos vacances!

Nous avons passé trois semaines magnifiques au Cortijo Las Rosas, avec nos trois enfants.  Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner dans les trois casitas, toutes aussi jolies et confortables les unes que les autres.  Le coin piscine est idyllique, avec la vue sur les collines d’oliviers aux alentours.

Les propriétaires, Marylynne et Gillian, sont très accueillantes et aimables, toujours désireuses d’aider en donnant des idées et conseils pratiques pour des visites.

Depuis le Cortijo, nous avons pu découvrir divers beaux villes et sites de l’Andalousie.

En bref, des vacances très réussies dans l’Andalousie rurale, dont nous gardons tous un excellent souvenir.

A true gem! Can recommend this cortijo to everyone that is looking for a couple of days of rest, silence and the ‘ getting-away-from-it-all-mode’. We stayed 4 nights in the perfectly kept apartment. Super clean, super romantic, super views, super friendly hosts! Can’t wait to come back!

Gilly and Marylynne were wonderful and attentive hosts. They are wonderful happy people who will ensure your stay is the best it can be. As hosts they provided us with plenty of information before our arrival and continually updated us. They were helpful in directing us to the secluded and peaceful villa, and with maps to supermarkets and restaurants. They showed us around and due to our late arrival, ensured there was a basket of food and drink to help us get by until we could get some shopping. The villa itself was clean and tidy, with everything you could possibly need. The private outdoor BBQ and eating area was a plus and the pool area was top notch. The real stunning point is the location of the villa. The view from the pool is amazing and the drive itself to the villa around the mountains and along the Iznajar water was breathtaking. The secluded spot of the villa is peaceful and tranquil, couldn’t ask for any more. The roads were suitable for our convertible so don’t let the remoteness of the villa put you off staying here, easily accessible. Would love to come back when exploring the area again. 10/10

Nous avons passé avec nos 3 ados, deux très bonnes semaines dans un environnement magnifique, paisible et serein, qui nous a permis de bien nous déconnecter et de nous ressourcer loin de la frénésie parisienne et de la foule estivale.

Le gîte Perdiz est très confortable, très beau, propre et fonctionnel. La piscine dans ce cadre exceptionnel, ce n’est que du bonheur !

Les maitresses des lieux, Marylynne et Gillian sont d’une extrême gentillesse, toujours de bonne humeur, à nos petits soins et à notre service pour rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible.

L’Andalousie recèle aussi de nombreux sites magnifiques à visiter.

En bref, tous les ingrédients sont là pour passer d’excellentes vacances !

Gillian and Marylynne were lovely hosts, and their Cortijo is beautiful – we had a fantastic experience staying with them. The photos don’t do it justice – the Cortijo is a beautifully restored traditional Spanish home, with it’s own private courtyard, beautifully furnished with large private bathrooms for each of the rooms. It’s very rural – a car was definitely necessary, but the countryside is awe-inspiring, and the Cortijo has amazing views onto olive groves on all sides.  We had day trips out to Granada, Cordoba, Antequera and more.  We found our stay super relaxing, and it was a perfect way to get a feel for life in rural Andalucia!

We spent a great week at Cortijo las Rosas in Casita Galgo. The location is stunning and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The pool is lovely with beautiful views across the valley. The casita, with its gorgeous courtyard, was extremely well equipped and very clean. Gillian and Marylynne manage to be very discrete, giving you privacy to enjoy your holiday, but at the same time are always around should you need them. They made us feel very welcome. The location is ideal to explore the area and we had many day trips as well as a few days relaxing by the pool. Highly recommended!
